The U.S. government is cracking down on the rhymes scam, where criminals try to lure victims with bogus schemes.

In an effort to deter the crooks, the FBI released a video Monday showing a man who posed as a police officer offering a $100,000 reward for information about the man who shot and killed a woman in New Jersey.

In the video, the man appears to be a police chief who’s trying to convince a suspect to talk about a murder that happened 10 years ago.

When the suspect declines, the chief asks him to get on the phone and talk.

When he refuses, the suspect walks away.
